President's Message
Dear HR Colleagues and Visiting Professionals:
Welcome to the HRA of Southern NJ SHRM Chapter! As you enter our website, attend monthly education programs, meet our board members, join our committees and connect with your peers, you will see the value that our organization will bring to you as a member of SJ HRA. We are committed to the ongoing development and engagement of the HR professional in the South Jersey Region, and it starts with having you on board!
The Human Resource Association of Southern New Jersey has succeeded, year after year, in assisting with meeting the professional needs of the HR professional in the following ways:
•Monthly dinner meetings with well-informed speakers and sponsors, which are affordable and provide valuable information.
•By investing in the future of our field through the Student Chapter at Cumberland County College and encouraging HR students through study groups and special projects.
•Developing partnerships with the Community resulting in mutual respect between the Chapter, businesses and educational institutions.
In closing, we thank you for taking the time to learn about our chapter. I’m honored to be the President of a chapter that has served HR professionals for over 63 years! I look forward to your comments and suggestions, and welcome your participation in the chapter.
